Well when it come to wasting money collymore knows his stuff- he was the ultimate failure !I wouldn't worry about him anyway , he and bent had a twitter bust up a while back , bent may become a villa legend , collymore was a villa failure.

Great news it's looking on if 2 sources say bent is at little Aston.

As i say this is all true defo no bullsh-t

With all due respect (i.e. none), I view someone with 10+ posts with unsubstaniated rumours a little sceptically.

Hospital was Little Aston in Sutton Coldfield??? Doesn't mean a lot to me being from Kidderminster.

Its the correct hospital for a medical, its BUPA jobby ten minutes from the training ground. He'll probably get MRSA knowing our luck.

Well considering that there's a second source saying the same thing, I think he should be taken a little more seriously.

We know from bitter experience that once a player has decided to leave, you're best just wringing out as much money as you can from the buying club and moving on.

Darren Bent and Stan have a bit of a history if I recall correctly. Didn't Bent refer to Collymore's extra curricular activities on twitter after Collymore criticsed his England credentials.

Stan is a good pundit who puts a lot of research into his work. However, on occasion, he's prone to taking an extreme view and then defending it rigourously. It seems he's in one of those moods tonight

I love Stan, but he is a MON lover. His reasons for not liking Bent dont add up.

We dont need a striker who can hold the ball up or link up well. We need a goalscorer, so Stan contradicts himself.
He said Bent gets an A for goal scoring and finishing but gets a D for everything else.

Well thats perfect for us as we need goals, Bent would be brilliant with Heskey.

Wouldn't putting all our eggs in one basket mean that we'd be signing nobody else for the rest of the transfer window? I look forward to seeing that one being proven false.

Blimey, this is all a bit sudden. Never thought we'd sign Bent after he went to Sunderland, should have signed him before but better late than never!

It's his opinion.  However, if we end up signing Bent and Adam on top of Makoun , it won't be a case of all our eggs in one basket which is what he is arguing. I think he's wrong on this one though. He's suggested 20m on Carroll which is all well and good. But Carroll has made it clear he wants to stay. Bent's handed a transfer request in.
