I'm pretty sure that they would of been on about Bent having a transfer request rejected last August. I can't see that Bruce has turned it down this time given the fact there is money on the table for him now

1, sky say we have bid £18m. So did 5 live, so did the express and star. Some say it could rise to £24m

Sky are saying Bent is in a local hotel waiting for the green light, i dont think this would be happening if they declined Bent's request.

Darren Bent and Stan have a bit of a history if I recall correctly. Didn't Bent refer to Collymore's extra curricular activities on twitter after Collymore criticsed his England credentials.
