Sorry lads just can't get excited at all about this. Should we really be creaming ourselves over a player whom the next England manager was willing to take a 6.5 million pound loss on when moving him on from Spurs to Slumberland? I think not, Harry is no fool and if he knows the true value of a player.I just cant help thinking that this 18/24 million pounds could be so much better spent somewhere within the boundaries of continental Europe.
How do people know what the Sunderland board are doing? Why have they allowed him to travel to Birmingham in the first place for talks?
I like the way our website is so up to date on today's news.
Biggest signing since Dean Saunders?Collywobbes maybe, but even pre breakdown that one always looked like a gamble. All be it a gamble worth taking. But this bloke pretty much guarantees goals and doesn't come with a track record of causing problems in training, coasting through matches when it doesn't suit him and so on.
