I cannot imagine for one second this is true. Why would any player that wants to leave act in a way that would alienate any potential suitor? No club would want to take him on. He's still a very good player if he finds the right circumstance so he's not going to screw up the chance to get that move.

If it was up to me I'd make him play for the reserves every week but that's an easy stance to take when it isn't my money.

Well that will be an improvement then.

It's Nursey in the Mirror for fucks sake.

Stephen Ireland will be at Fulham or Sunderland by January 31st.

It makes my blood boil - as my Dear Old Mum used to say. Doesn't work for himself or the team, earns in a week what most earn in a year and then complains that it was a shock coming here after Man City. Bless.

Doesn't do a lot to endear himself to us or management does he.

Bad deal all round that one, whoever is to blame.

Now, ok Mirror, he is being reported as threatening to work to rule. Well if not true why does he not refute it?

I await just that. Know what, I don't think it will happen from him, maybe the Club. PR dept.

What students, nurses and the like must feel I don't know. Get shot of this parasite Villa. Now.

so dissapointed about ireland,  thought he was the thing we needed.  what a ******.  but we all know he is under the thumb cause an ugly bastard couldnt pull a bird like that normally. she wears the trousers, she has said she doent like birmingham and wants to leave.  every week he plays crap cause he is scared of what he is about to do wrong at home and get a bollocking for....BUT i would cut off my own knob if i had a bird like that... so fair play to him :-)

Earns in a week what most earn in a year?!!! Make it several years and you'd be closer I should imagine.

It's Ireland's fault we've had all this snow. And my mate's tv has just broken down. He's getting the blame for that too. The useless tosser.

Just another immature footballer with no humility or idea of how lucky he is.

It's worse/better -  my mate says that Ireland will destroy the European Union.

Wouldn't surprise me if Ireland and his former manager have put their heads together already on this one.
He knows he's going. He knows he is no longer wanted, so make as much trouble as you can before you go, so the selling club will accept peanuts just to get you out the way.

Its got Fulham all over this transfer.

Bloody hell  - it is sick.

All of us at twelve years old would have given our right gooly for the opportunity. At eighteen fought through hell and back for a first team place. At twenty five been thankful that we had a chance to fight for honours. In professionall football. In the World of our dreams A premiership club

And rich. Very rich. Girlfreind to drool over. Cars too many to remember. Houses wherever I want.

But no, we get: "I am not happy".  To paraphrase.

And we are meant to chant his name. Support him. And then pay for his wealth?

There aren't swear words appropriate to delete.
