If Pardew wins his first few games, Hughton will quickly be forgotten

That news has made my morning, there is already rumours of the players being unhappy... so instead of bringing in a Hiddink, Jol or even MON they bring in a guy with a poor premer league record and who was sacked by a championship side, you gotta love them Geordies.

Form is temporary, Newcassle's twattery is permanent

Thought they were losing their touch too...glad to be disabused of that notion!

THe Geordies do seem to be sitting on the fence though (Taken from a barcode forum):

"If Barton and Carroll were to set about him as he turns up and hospitalize him for 6 months we might get a better manager in who can keep us up come May"

Priceless!!

All I associate pardew with is being sacked, they are morons, I hope the decision relegates them

I would love them to stay up this season, let them have that false sense of security.  Then after we have our revenge on the last day of the season, relegation strikes them (by us again) in May 2012.  That's so much sweeter.

Next 4 games for Newcastle - Liverpool, Blues, Man City and Spurs.

I can see them getting 1 point from that.

Pardew, the man who dropped Tevez at west Ham and replaced him with Harewood

You really would be sick as a parrot if you replaced a manager that was doing a fine job with Alan Pardew, the decision by Mike Ashley is quite astonishing. SSN reported before I left for work that a poll was done in a local Newcastle rag of 1000 fans and only 14 of them wanted Pardew, he has his work cut out before he’s even started

A 5 and a half year contract just about tops things off nicely.
