I don't think we've had a better badge.Me neither, but as I get older I like the early seventies lion with no shield. That's the one for me, it looked particularly good on the yellow and blue away kit. The round badge didn't work at all on that, although i'd be happy if we went back to either, the subsequent 2 badges just don't cut it .The worst was the late nineties revamp that made the lion look like a seahorse (I think Messrs and Ansell tried to get it changed ASAP).

Also, in 86/87 wasn't there no badge at all on the shirt, just the letters AVFC?

Didn't object to the general change in design in the early 90s. It was when I was younger and that badge carries a lot of special memories. It's still the one on my keyring to this day. Also, in 86/87 wasn't there no badge at all on the shirt, just the letters AVFC?
The 'Prepared' bit isn't really appropriate, because we rarely are.
it just looks whatever the opposite adjective to bold is.
As soon as he goes, I want every last trave of Lerner's regime removed.
I think the club has bigger issues to worry about than the crest. However, if and when we get taken over I would hope they change it. As soon as he goes, I want every last trave of Lerner's regime removed.

Because if not to keep it consistent and equally melodramatic we should tear down the Holte End, the Doug Ellis, the Trinity, Bodymoor...
