I can't imagine many Albion fans sit down at Wolves, or that that fixture passes off without incident, yet Wolves fans were unhappily ousted from seson ticket seats to give Albion a full cup allocation a couple of years back.

I remember Wolves fans who were moved being compensated with a free "pie and a pint", and the Albion fans taunting them with this throughout the game. Surely this situation added a fair potential for trouble? It was done though because the rules say 15%, and Wolves were told they couldn't get out of it.

do people honestly not think this is down to the police, night game at the sty, nightmare for the police?

i personally think the council and police were in cahoots and gave us the minimum they could get away with, with a big net taking the rest of the seats!

15% of their capacity isnt 3,800 is it, isnt it 4,200??

Just got my ticket. I'm not really looking forward to it -  I'm worrried about our ability to beat them, the possibility of crowd trouble and the problem of finding a safe parking spot. But I'd rather be there than watch it on tv.

You have no choice at away games other than to stand - how can you watch the game sitting down when you've got people standing up infront of you?

Besides, it doesn't matter if they stupid council/police cut our allocation, atleast we'll be able to sell-out our allocation as usual unlike small heath who had lots of empty claret seats in the Upper Doug Ellis last sunday despite having their allocation cut. What a joke.
They actually sold their allocation for last sunday, they still had a section with 2800 seats but only had 2400 tickets. Hence 400 empty seats.

Jon got ours first thing.  Really not looking forward to this game at all.  It's the possibility of trouble that worries me.

Every single one of our 3800 fans will stand all game so whats the difference between 3800 of us standing to 4200 of us doing it?

400. Come on, it's simple maths!  ;)

Canal! That gives me an idea but we'll need VSM to navigate round all the trolleys.

Only 100 people qualified for this first window, so there should be loads left for you part-time fair weather lot.

Only 100?  Aren't there 1,000 in the Away Scheme?  Surely most of those would have gone to both cup games as well.

I think there are about a 1000 in it, but apparently only 100 of us managed to go to both. That Blackburn attendance was really low.
