Deluded first post on SHA

Followed by quite a lot of sense, surprisingly.

I was thinking the same although after 4/5 years of PL football and relatively poor crowds, even they cant still be clinging on to the '10k more than the Vile every week' myth.

Interesting article.

Is teh writer complaining on there about council hypocrisy in not cutting Blues allocation teh same one who last week was complaining about Blues allocation being cut? Mercy me, I do believe it is.

Brum council are wankers. They allow 4200 Liverpool, Man Utd etc fans at the sty yet cut our tickets for standing? Every single one of our 3800 fans will stand all game so whats the difference between 3800 of us standing to 4200 of us doing it?

Blues' tickets have been on general sale to anyone aswell, very strange/silly decision as anyone could have tickets in any area of their ground.

He’s also wrong about a few things, one of them being that Blues aren’t selling the tickets because they are using the 6th and 7th blocks. We’ve got the league allocation which is 3800 and not 4200.

He also appears to be wrong about the Council not cutting SHAs allocation at VP, they seem to be saying that theirs was also cut by 400 to 2400 at VP for the last few years.

I think it has been the past few times, as have a few other clubs tickets, Man United and Liverpool being two. No doubt this decision saved thousands of lives and prevented countless injuries.

You’d have more respect for their position if they didn’t lie and waffle on about nonsensical ideas such as maintaining health and safety, and instead said it’s the law folks, our hands are tied.

"Yes I complained last season it was wrong by them to do that and the hypocrisy is this season as I did not see their allocation cut at VP on Sunday or any Blues reports that it was"

I thought that as well, although I will admit to laughing out loud to this as it just struck me as very very funny.

"i think it was the leyland daft where we took the massive amount. 54k in our end and a fair few in the tranmere end too.

the next home game we had 9k there against notts county (i think)"

As for those travelling to the sty, aren't we overdue free travel to an away in the League Cup? Pull your finger out Randy! *wink*

I wouldn't be surprised aswell if the police didn't have something to do with it, a quiet word in the ear of the council and they come up with the persistent standing line rather than 'we'd rather have 3800 of them to police than 4500'. As i said Brum council let all the other standing away fans, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs etc 4200 tickets at Blues in the league.

I dont agree with the decision to cut the allocation but the council could hardly cut theirs at VP and then not do the same for us could they, both the SHA supporting council tax payers from within the borders would have been up in arms.

Are you happy that because of the persistent standing of you and others, 400 of our supporters will be unable to go to this game?

Haha so it's my fault personally now is it? Our away fans stand everywhere we go, it's a given, and all 3800 fans at the Sty will stand, thats not going to change but i'm willing to take the blame if you want.
