That Spurs move is fookin shit.

Yep and even worse for Spurs fans.

Bollocks to them.

And that, in three words, is why we get treated like this.

It's that attitude that has allowed TV to fuck us around as they fit.

Doin't be silly. Its the fact that Sky have bought the game that allows them to fuck us around as they see fit, not whether we give a shit about Spurs' fans travel plans on Boxing Day. Frankly, that idea is absurd.

Just checked with the missus and I definitely cant go (unless I want to 'ruin Christmas'). I dont know what is more worrying, the fact that she has laid down the law or the fact that I'm not really that bothered about missing it.

Is this the end of my lifelong love affair with the Villa?

Don't be hasty. I'd get rid of the missus first and see how things look up after that

Ruin Christmas?  Christmas was over the day before the match.

I'm with Chico, time to get a new wife.

More worrying is the fact that you don't seem to have any testicles.

Once again you show your remarkable talent for missing the point.

If, as fans, we showed some collective responsibility we could try to do something about it. However, the reality is that the only time any of us give a shit is when it impacts on us personally. It isn't Sky's fault, they're paying the money but it is the PL that carve up the amount of games on offer causing them to be shifted. If the PL were less greedy they could limit the number of games televised. The PL is made up of the clubs in it. If the fans of those clubs worked together to boycott merchandising, pies, programmes etc or refused to attend games on a Monday night for example then the clubs would soon change their tune.

Added to the belief that our supporters (and I've no doubt it's the same at other clubs) are somehow better than the scum/gloryhunters/wankers everywhere else.

No need to ask who wears the trousers in your house. Or who irons them.

Top Cat has to decide whether she'll be going or not as she's my designated driver!  If she doesn't go, I'll struggle to make it.
