Can anyone else see a potential bannana skin here?

No way they were shocking away from home last season.
They were up for Bolton because of the derby and manager affect.

Definitely.

They put us out in 2004/05 and nearly repeated the trick at our place the following year.

An awkward tie, awkward in the sense that they are lower league opposition but they are probably too strong to entertain any notions of rotating against them. Had we got Brentford or Northampton at home we probably could have got away with it.

Blues have had the easiest cup run of all time, Rochdale, MKDons and Brentford all at home.

Villa, Blues and Albion to all make the quarters which could be interesting. Bring on the Blues at home, it would have to be a night game and the atmosphere would be like when they first came up, these noon games are boring.

Nah I don't see it. Coyle has gone, they're poor away from home and I'd expect us to smash them comfortably.

Can't grumble about the luck of the draw again - we have avoided
the other Prem teams and got a 'home'

Start saving for a Wembley trip (fingers & toes crossed)    ?

I would of just preferred to have played small heath and kicked them out the cup ASAP. We don't want those horrible, little knuckle draggers getting anywhere near the Q-Finals.

An awkward tie

I am trying to picture you typing that with a straight face.

We should beat Burnley at home, then a kindish draw for the quarters, Wet Spam/Ipswich/Wigan at home and its semi's all over again. Last seasons highlight for me was the Blackburn semi, on BBC1 as well with the spectacular claret and blue flag show....of course 6-4 didn't hurt either.
I have a feeling we will get either Blues or Newcastle over the two legs and we should be up and running big time by then.........Man U at Wembley anyone???

Hopefully we'll play a strong side. That should be enough to see us through comfortably enough.

Can't grumble with that, home tie and beattable opposition.

Inevitable to me we'll get SHA in the quarters.

Can I ask why its inevitable we'll get SHA in the quarters.  We've been drawn against them only 3 times in 50 years of the competition, 2 2 leg second round ties and once in the final when it was two legs which we don't really talk about.

In fact I'd say its more likely we'll get Albion.

Nicely done.
