Is his Gran still dead?
it's like something from the wizard of oz.
The guy is a successful player in the toughest league in the world and he gets paid well for it. He can do what he likes with his money and if enjoys spending it on a house like this good luck to him, but I don't know why that qualifies him as a prick. He obviously has a good sense of humour and is an extrovert so we can't expect him to buy a semi-detached in Yardley, next door to Craig Gardner and his parents. The world would be a much duller place without people like Ireland and it's those extrovert traits that make him such an exciting prospect for us.
I don't care a rat's ass what he chooses to spend his money on, it is the fact that he appears to want to advertise it that is the problem. The obscene conspicuous consumption of some Premiership footballers will end in tears, I reckon.
