Is this the same fellow who faked his grandmother's death certificate in order to get a few days sick leave?

It's Stephen Ireland.  You know the one, bald fella who joined us from Man City.  I'm not aware that forging official documents is something he's ever been accused of.

Who cares what he's done or what his house is like, let's just get him on the pitch and get winning games.

Ach, I don't care what anyone says. I like Stephen Ireland. And yes, his girlfriend/wife was lovely on Come Dine With Me. So there.

I was expecting worse.

How would some of you like it if Stephen Ireland was criticising your house and it's decor? I sincerely doubt many people on here live in the kind of minimalist Bauhaus mansions that would get Kevin McCloud creaming his pants. I know I don't! It's a matter of taste.

I bet you've got a knackered fridge in your front garden, along with a caravan with green algae growing up the side.

I give him a lot of credit. If I had that much money in my early 20's I would do something stupid, like piss it away on pink range rov-

oh, wait...

I don't care what the lad does with his money, can walk around with leopard skin teeth as far as I'm concerned. As long as he produces the goods for us on the pitch is the important thing. If he settles into life at Villa he's going to one hell of player for us. Calling him a prick based on his taste for understated fine furnishings doesn't help.

All true, but why do we know about his fucking furnishings in the first place? Why can't he keep him them to himself? Can you imagine <name of footballer with a clue> inviting a camera crew into his crib?

Can I point out that he could be a massive prick.

I think we get your point matey.

He could be a great player at Villa.

The point that you keep making, that you think Ireland is a massive prick and can be a massive prick at Villa.

It's almost like you want him to be.

Amazing.

If he plays well for us he can be as big as prick as he likes.

Hell, he could decorate my house like his and I wouldn't care.

Atleast he's not sleeping with prostitutes or getting into fights.

Does it really matter? He's a bit chavvy. He's stopped one short of having a tribal tattoo so he's fine by me.

Mark, although he clearly hasnt been the brightest button in the past, he's ours now and has done nothing to warrant this from his own supporters in his time here.

Maybe O'Leary was referring to you as the fickle fan ?

Schoolboy error there.

If Fletch thought he was a prick at Man Citeh and still thinks he's a prick at Villa (but will give him his full backing whilst he wears the shirt) that shows a level of consistency. He's not deviating from his original viewpoint.

Now then: Someone who thought he was a prick at Man Citeh but now believes he's untouchable might be viewed as changeable. Or even fi...

So maybe DOL was referring to you?
