Spurs have bid Llorente, he is class, I'd love him.

I thought he had a buy out clause of something like 50 million ?

Ashley Young targeted by Liverpool as Aston Villa close in on Michael Bradley

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is set to bid for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young if Chelsea succeed in signing Fernando Torres before the close of the January transfer window.

Villa, meanwhile, are close to taking USA midfielder Michael Bradley on loan from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

The signing of Bradley will allow Stephen Ireland to join Newcastle on loan for the remainder of the season.

It is believed that if Ireland impresses at St James’ Park he will be offered a permanent deal at Newcastle as insurance in case Joey Barton decides not to stay after his current contract expires in the summer.

Young, meanwhile, has continually be linked with a move away from Villa Park and is thought to be one of Dalglish’s main transfer targets.

With Blackpool manager Ian Holloway refusing to let Charlie Adam leave until Liverpool up their offer from £4million to around £16million,

His mission will become even more urgent if Chelsea are successful in signing Torres on Monday, with the Reds apparently ready to let their star striker leave Anfield if the Premier League champions up their offer from £35million to £50million.

I think we'll hear this story a lot tomorrow if it looks like Torres is moving to Chelsea.

Liverpool is the most likely destination for him. Spurs are well stocked for widemen.

I think Aston Villa should sign Lionel Messi, Xavi and Iniesta from Barcelona.

I reckon a billion pounds and Warnock and Beye in exchange should do it. What does anybody else think?

I don't think so either, I'm just saying I expect it to be a side story to the Torres to Chelsea saga.

The only way Ash would be allowed to leave would be for a mega offer too good to turn down. I hope Ash takes a good look around him and takes notice of what Houllier is building. This window has been far better than any of us could have imagined and Randy has made his intentions clear by backing Houllier.

I hope ash can see what we are trying to build here and see where we are in the summer at least- if it had been jan 1st maybe Liverpool would have more chance but not on 31st - I think torres will go through late in the day tomorrow , and I expect warnock and Adam to be anfield bound sling with suarez.

So Bradley essentially done, Ireland almost out and any truth in this Spahic talk?

Apparently not playing for his club today. I know he's down as a CB, but in these highlights he looks like a LB to me

Spahic

He looks like he's playing left-back, but he looks very right-footed.

I try not to get too excited by youtube highlights of players, and I must say I didn't have to try too hard in this case.
