Heskey got himself sent off through pure stupidity (although he played ok up to then, apart from his finishing), missed a sitter and another decent chance & probably cost us the game....

yes and I think Heskey has been the one that has been good under Houlier, a true professional then , not like some others....   so Im sure Heskey didnt miss from 2 yards on purpose to get Houlier the sack.....

Houllier needs to ship these out, the likes of Beye, Carew, Warnock. I bet they had a right jolly when MoN was nowhere to be seen at Bodymoor. I guess they don't like the professional approach that Houllier will be trying to instill.

It would appear from the outside that MON did not exactly exact stringent application in training, and that the players don't like it now when they are being asked to work a bit harder. Thing is, we tired badly on 60 minutes week in week out last season without question, so harder training is needed!

Bridge if he comes and is simply solid, unspectacular and does a job will be better than having Clark out of position and Warnock being rubbish, especially if we can get Samba in for Warnock, although seen rumours about Fulham being in for Warnock. Not sure what they have down there that we could want, so 4-5 million would still be about right for him if selling.
