The club have already said they're going to auction them off. I think it's half to Acorns, half to a forces charity, Help for Heroes I think but I stand ready to be corrected.
Hi GeneralI was really disappointed on Wednesday to discover the Villa Vitality food outlet in the lower Doug Ellis has been closed and replaced by the usual burgers and chips. It took up just one half of a kiosk (the real coffee place is in the other half, I hope that's not for the chop too).Elsewhere there are three full kiosks selling all the usual football stadium fare. Surely the club makes enough profit from those outlets to give over one eighth of its catering floor space to offer other options. It's been great having the choice, especially for night games or matches like today when it's convenient to grab something to eat at the stadium. Now the club is missing out on my cash. Can you explain the decision please?
If this has been raised recently then ignore me - but did anyone get any clue as to what was going on at half time at the Man U game? How come our tannoy system is so rubbish and has been for so long. Other stadiums of similar dimensions can manage why can't we?
At Stoke, they have speakers by the side of the pitch which seem to do the job rather than have it coming out of the stand roof.As I've said before, the simple thing to do would be to collect some staff before the season starts, sit them in every section of each of the four stands and test out the PA then to determine where the nosiest and quietest parts are, if they don't already?

GeneralI've no doubt this will have been brought up before, but even if it has then nothing seems to have been done about it.Getting away after the game has become an absolute nightmare over the last couple of seasons - even when I leave the stadium with a smile on my face the chaos on Aston Hall Road means I get home in a foul mood - win, lose or draw.Until recent years police have stopped traffic coming up Aston Hall Road from Lichfield Road for a period after the game so traffic can clear, but not anymore - it's a free for all. Week after week traffic trying to get away comes to a standstill because a huge truck is trying to come up in the opposite direction. What's more we now get it pre-match, particularly night games, in the opposite direction... usually meaning some dodgy parking and a sprint to make kick-off in time.It begs the following questions...1. Why do we have a huge police bill - when the police don't actually do anything most games (derby excepted)? It would only take one of them to block traffic coming up Aston Hall Road for 45mins after a game.2. Assuming that the council may have something to do with this too... is this the same council that decide to cut ticket allocations as they deem people standing in seated areas dangerous? Surely these trucks trying to squeeze their way against the flow of traffic and hundreds/thousands of pedestrians is far more of a danger. It is an accident waiting to happen... and the rage it causes among motorists is also the recipe for an accident one day.3. Does the club really care about how the traffic problems spoil supporters' "matchday experience"?I appreciate that the interests of local residents and businesses have to be taken into consideration, but surely the current lack of a system is a nightmare for fans, residents and businesses alike. I've travelled to pretty much all grounds over the years and Villa Park used to be one of the best to get away from - now it is pushing for a place as one of the worst.
