Please don't! The bloody things have cost me a fortune so far and if my son sees there is a swap thing going on before every Villa game it will be non stop pleading to take him to Villa Park every other week.

the thing is chris, if they are swapping you arent buying new ones! There is logic in my suggestion, it bugs the hell out of me when i buy a new pack and he already has the same 6 cards!

Brilliant idea,

Is it possible for so many people to use a network?

General.

Some time ago I bought to your attention the ludicrous situation where I tried to buy tickets for a future game on a match day and the ticket office refused as they were selling match day tickets only. A decision I questioned as the ticket office was practically empty at the time.

Tonight was round 2

On the official club website it states that today I was able to purchase tickets for the Blose game in the cup. Due to work commitments and travel problems I arrived at the Villa Park ticket office approximately 45 mins before kick off. Again I was told 'tonights game only' - I explained the situation to the ticket office head honcho, that as I am a teacher and won't be able to spend hours on the phone or internet tomorrow to get tickets this was my only option of purchasing tickets. His reply was that he was being directed from 'inside the office' as to what to tell people.  The steward was polite, sympathetic and almost apologetic about the situation but it was clear that he was unable to do anything to help. The result - again I walk away ticketless.
Now had the ticket office been busy i could fully understand the situation but again there was nobody queuing outside and it would have been no more than a five minute wait. (I did actually take a photo) Surely there is a facility somewhere at Villa Park that can sell tickets for future matches in the hour running up to the current game for people who are not able to sit for ages on a phone or on the internet.

I'm incredibly annoyed by this as I will more than likely be missing out on tickets for the Blues game because of this stupid system that is in place.

I think that The General said he would look in to this but nothing has been forthcoming as of yet.

Correct Legion - I'm not doubting that the people who want to buy tickets for the game that is due to be played shouldn't get preference - i'm sure I wasn't the only person who was in that situation last night. How can the ticket office be so great but the lack of thinking be so poor. Surely somewhere at Villa Park they could have set up an area where Blues tickets could have been sold last night?

That is mad, basically they are turning away customers, the cardinal sin of any business. They could have 1 window open for other matches as I'm sure other peole in the same boat - you can only go to VP for match days.

General, in the football simulation game Football Manager 2011 you have just bought out Randy for £46m. Now as I am the manager I must ask - any chance of a few million to strengthen in January?  ;D ;D

General,

Fulham employ a disabled away supporters steward to meet and look after disabled away fans. Is this something Villa have considered. Also, do we ever look to get feedback from away supporters about their treatment at Villa Park?

General,

The OS currently states tomorrow's match is early morning?  It also said at the start of the week that the Blackpool match was on the weekend and then on the day of the game that it was in the afternoon.  Surely it shouldn't be giving out soo much misleading information.

I have raised similar issues before Dave including the fact that disabled away fans don't get an opportunity to be with the away end. I have also asked many times about audio description for blind fans. It is quite common now.

The match is early morning for the General. (Unless of course he's over here)

General,

please pass my thanks to whoever decided to put the other scores up on the scoreboard during the game. I have been moaning that we should do this for years so glad to see it implemented.

Cheers Pauline, missed that. Nice to see other people seem to like the score updates too. Except Dave W who was moaning that they put up Albion had scored!
