My first Villa game was the beginning of the 93-94 season, home to QPR, won 4-1. Wonderful introduction to Villa for a 10 year old.My dad had taken me to Filbert Street numerous times before that in an attempt to get me to follow Leicester. But it didn't work, and I followed my Grandad 's beloved Villa instead.

Was just after the semi final win over Man Ure if I remember correctly. That's quite a nice idea, getting the kit and a match ticket for Christmas.

The first match is always the best memory. Sod the cup finals and promotions

But compared to the 0-0 at home to Ipswich in 1976 it was a football fest ( a flock of pigeons undisturbed by football in the centre circle)
Coventry at home, won 2-1 early season in 90/91 with goal scoring machine Cascarino with the winner. First away game, San Siro Milan for the 3-0 drubbing....
