OK, now last night is out of the way I'll make a prediction - K-Mac's Villa to keep the momentum going and get an away win.  We weather an early storm and get one on the break.  Final result 1-2 to us.

It'll be intersting if he has  afew back to see who he leaves out, although Clark not playing last night suggests to me that he isn't expecting Collins or Cuellar to be fit.  Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same side as we saw against West Ham.

EDIT:  except for Milner, obviously!

Newcastle are a strange one for me, as all they really deserve is to be patronised (in a plucky-little-Blackpool / Burnley kind of way), but I can't help but despise them for some reason. Here's hoping we do them proper.

Pain in the arse getting any newly promoted team in their first home game. They'll be really up for it. Think Burnley V Manure last year.

I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

Is the general consensus that Ireland will come in straight for Milner??

Difficult one to call. I would definitely keep Albrighton in the team, he must chomping at the bit to play every game now, so I dont see any reason not to give him a good long run.

It will be interesting to see how Newcastle line out. Even though they are at home, I wouldnt be surprised to see them line out in a 4-5-1 again.

I reckon their main aim will be not to lose.

Is this a 1.30 kick off or 2 o'clock??

1-1. Barton for them, Carew with the equaliser.

Carol (hair to match) is the only real goal threat - or should be if our MD track their ASBO's.

So I have just put the lanky girl in my Fantasy Team - He won't score now for sure!!

They will be well up for this one, we will be lucky to escape with a draw, I think.

Think Stoke-Villa two years ago.

It won't be pretty.

0-2
Downing and Ireland

I think Albrighton looked a bit weary last night and think he might need a rest to prevent burnout.

If they play like they did vs urinal and we play like we did against the kitstealers we should marmalise them by a cricket score.

1-0 loss :o(
