Haha, fcking Albrighton skins that defender again leaving him on his ass. Sick move there... got that vital away goal.

Awesome start.

Just a small word for Heskey's crucial part in the build up to that goal, great control and reverse pass to put Albrighton in.

Those away goals are so, so valuable.

I've got such a massive smile on my face at the moment. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm seeing my Villa playing the hallowed 4-2-3-1 or seeing them play a really nice, to feet, passing game. Whatever it is, it feels like I've been released from a very dark cave into the sunlight!

Well the contrast in our display here and last year are remarkable at the moment.

Anyone know what formation the reserves normally played last season?

Yes, he did well there, Heskey. I think he's actually a better 'target man' when the ball is played on the ground, funnily enough, as he's always been quite handy at playing in attacking midfielders.

That is brilliant wing play yet again from Albrighton.

to be fair looking at the replay again, what the fook was the full back doing, he just fell over.

He just wasn't expecting Albrighton to move inside, thought he was going straight to the byline. It was also a great ball to Bannan too. He was very composed when a lot of players would have just smashed it into the box hoping a team mate would get on the end of it.
