Great start! Following this via text and a bit of a dodgy H and V feed out in Spain on hols. Nothing better than seeing your youngsters making the grade...

Just a small word for Heskey's crucial part in the build up to that goal, great control and reverse pass to put Albrighton in.

Those away goals are so, so valuable.

I think we had a discussion on here last season or the one before. With a 1-0 away win an away goal is not worth anything.

Eh?

I found that one strange

He knows nothing either! He keeps getting Bannan and Albrighton mixed up and then complained that we weren't playing Ireland even though he couldn't play due to him not being signed in time! What a knobhead.

Spot on.  Come on Rapid.  Get a couple of goals so the away goal becomes worthwhile.

Think about it. Away goals count double if you finish level. To be level then they will only have to score one goal 1-0. Then our away goal is chalked off instantly for it to be level. Any other score to get level will mean they win on away goals so 1-0 is useless under the away goals rule. Actually in theory they only count for the away team in the first leg if both teams score during that one match.

I'm still concerned by Brad at set pieces, he doesn't appear to be learning.
