Curbishley! if that is the best the board can come up with after 3 weeks then they should take a long hard look at themselves.

This man hated playing for the Villa, he is not what we want at this time, a budget shoestring manager with the personality a an old sock.

Right ok, if Koeman who has won a league title wants the job, then we should not be looking at Curbishley. We shouldn't be looking at him anyway, but experience of mediocrity or worse means fuck all. It would be a massive PR cock up.

I'm not keen on this interviewing lark. It makes it sound as if  the club have no idea who to appoint. I hope it dose'nt go to a second interview.

Urgh. Reckon you'll find out any others Dave? Curbs being one doesn't fill me with confidence. Koeman is interested, sure, but the fact he's contacting the club and not them contacting him makes me think we may be looking closer to home. Enter Curbs, Southgate, Megson, Allardyce, McCarthy, Sven.. Enter depression.

For the second stage they all get together for a fucking teamwork roleplay, probably.

we are starting too look a joke! seriously have we ever heard of all this malarky at any other club.

Fulham is the example we should be using, identify the man you want then try too get him.

We are interviewing absolute shite!

Interviews, after you have viewed the CV and explored the candidates history are usually about Chemistry. Bloody Nora, he made it that far. That man is not for us. Please God. We will not accept him. RL will be in a pickle then.

What alarms me is that anybody on the board thinks that Curbishley is anywhere near good enough to be at the club.

Hmmm. Reckon the board could be devious enough to release a name they know will be deeply unpopular, so that when they announce KM, we'll all go "phew, at least it wasn't Curbishley"?

What's worrying is that he made the shortlist at all. It's not like you would have four outstanding candidates and Curbishley; that being the case you'd just have a four man shortlist. That he was interviewed must be an indication of the general quality of the list.

Paul W.
That's my point. How can anybody in authority think he should be even recorded as a possibility. The press would destroy us.

Possibly Risso, because I don't want KMac to be the manager, but it made me think exactly that.

I can only think that he qualifies for automatic interviewing under some sort of disability legislation.

Sorry, but I'm the only one to believe in boardroom conspiracies.
