Milner bench again, what a waste

Yip. But thats greed for you.

Yes, the only reason he left was for money. You sound like a Sunderland fan!

I'm sure the thickness of the wad of dosh in his arse pocket will cushion his bum from the splinters that he might otherwise gather from his time on the subs' bench.

Why? Is he being sold to Galatasaray or Olympiakos? Because if Citeh make CL and the amount of game time he has had this season, he will be one of the ones replaced with other players.

Depends on who the manager is and whether he likes him or not. They might not want to sell to a rival... we are probably the most attractive of the clubs that they wouldn't consider a rival.

If Mancini qualifies for the CL and wins the FA Cup he is going no where and do you really think we can afford to pay £20m+ for Milner.....never gonna happen

He will be if they decide to get better "home grown" players and he is not named in the 25 man squad.

Yes because we could afford to pay £20 million for Bent. I agree it's unlikely but you never know.

Can you name any of these "better English players" that City might want ?? If they do want to sell him he will only go to United, Arsenal, Chelsea and will play Champs league for them anyway

Except that Man City don't sell players to the clubs you've mentioned.

Why would Milner be £20mill + for appearing on the bench so many times this season. Will we get £10mil plus for Ireland if we sold him this season?

Can you name any of these "better English players" that City might want ?? If they do want to sell him he will only go to United, Arsenal, Chelsea and will play Champs league for them anyway

Ashley Young,
Ashley Cole,
John Terry,
Fabregas,
Downing,
Wilshere,
Bale,
Bent.

All the above class as home grown and could easily be afforded by Man City and they could be drawn to sign because of CL football being available as well as wages.

As for selling to a potential English rival next season. We'll see as they have only sold back abroad for their better players and can afford to have someone on stupid wages in the reserves.

I think Man City would rather sell him for £20 million to a club like Villa than sell him for £30 million to a club like Man U, who they see as rivals. The money is pretty much irrelevant to them.
