I could see Spurs selling Bale to them if City offered them silly money (which they may), I cant see Ash, Downing going there as Milner is better than them and I think if City wanted Bent they would have bought him in Jan instead of Dzeko

I think Man City would rather sell him for £20 million to a club like Villa than sell him for £30 million to a club like Man U, who they see as rivals. The money is pretty much irrelevant to them.

I think your right about that but I think Liverpool, Spurs may be interested as well and Milner may see them as more attractive alternatives and would he take a possible 50% cut in his wages ??

You wanted names so I have given names.

Arsenal sold Toure and Adebayour to Man City, and they are a selling club which allows them to pay off their stadium plus get the odd big money signing in. Plus Fabregas has been unhappy for a while although he will probably go to Spain.

Terry is in desperate financial straights and will jump at the first sniff of stupid wages although Chelsea will probably match any wages he is offered. Cole is another Greedy bastard as well.

Dzeko ( who has just scored) has not been a success in the prem but they had his name set as a target in the autumn with Adebayour going on loan to make room. With Bents England appearances recently and his GS form they could go for him although I doubt it will be this summer unless they want to pay stupid money again.

Some people have it set up so you have a box which says 'Spoilers' and you can only read what is says if you click the box. It gets used in the TV programmes thread a lot.

You have given me names no doubt and your reasoning above makes them all "possible citeh targets" and Adebayor/Bellamy will have to go back in the summmer unless Real/Cardiff make permanent bids for them. We will see what happens and I would love Milner to come back

He is class. Started the season brilli9antly before suffering a serious injury and has only recently returned. He is Blackburns best player by a mile and the only one of their players I would take off their hands. He was linked with all the big clubs earlier in the season though. I reckon he would cost 15mil+ if we wanted to sign him.
