I think Spurs are still very much in the game.

The third and deciding leg will be very interesting.

I have lived, and am still living, the Spurs dream

Another glory night down the Lane

Meanwhile, the world of football goes into mourning...

The semi-finals will be poorer without them.

The final will be poorer without them.

The European Super Cup will be poorer without them

The World Club Championship will be poorer without them.

I had the game on with the sound down so didn't actively watch it but from what I did see other than the five goals Madrid scored over two legs there was little between the two sides.

From BBC From Phil, Chelmsford, on text: "As a Spurs fan of 25 years nothing has made me smile more than Gareth Bale in this season's Champions League. Mesmerising."

It's little things like those five goals that turn games. They will come back more-experienced and raring to go next season.  Watch out Europe!

Gomes fits perfectly at spurs, I hope they don't sell him as he always makes it enjoyable watching them.
