Far from being petty and small minded, an intense dislike of Sperms is de rigueur and malevolence is manifestly justified.

It is right and fitting.

Amen.

I really, really hate Spurzz. But they thoroughly deserved to win last night. The ref was crap, should have been a penalty in the first minute and Flamini should have been sent-off twice.

what's petty and small minded about not liking Spurs? Nothing wrong with a bit of pointless malevolence.

Well quite Damon, it is only treating them the same way the arrogant twats treat everyone else...

If he had sent Flamini off twice, that would have been amazing. I suppose that's for when you dive in with four feet rather than two

Then, you're frankly mad.

Waking up to another night of glory for Tottingham makes me wonder if this could be the worst year for football for a long long time.  Imagine, Blues win the cup, Spurs win the Champions League and we get relegated.  *shudder*

A good job those things are about as likely to happen as Stevie Wonder winning Le Mans.

You're right, that particular trio couldn't possibly come home all at once - the footballing gods wouldn't be so cruel..

I don't honestly think we'll go down but the other two things are outside possibilities.  *petty minded statement alert* I can't think which of the two would irk me more.  I think it would actually be Spurs winning the champonsh league, 'the media' are already in a state of giddy hysteria.

In order for Spuds to win the CL i honestly think they will have to beat another Prem team over two legs, which is where the wheels will inevitably come off.

If Spurs win the Champions League I think I may be depressed forever.  Couple that with a win for the scum at Wembley next week and it borders on self harm.  Good job that neither are likely to happen then!  :)

Bumped into a few Barca fans at Paddington tonight, all wanting directions to the tube & the Emirates, as if I could give a shit!
As you do I wished them luck & they asked who I support.  Instantly they wanted to talk, 1982, Rotterdam, Super Cup, Tony Morley, Gary Shaw, O'Neill, Houllier, Young, Gabby, Milner, 2 of the group were about my age & were at VP for the Super Cup 2nd leg, both had fond memories of a great away trip.

A more knowledgable bunch of foreign johnnies you could not wish to meet.  Forza Barca.
