Fantastic reactions and reflexes but I had imagined he had to stretch more to get it - it was very close to him. Don't get me wrong, it was a magnificent save, especially as Zat hit it at point-blank range but I'd put Schmeichael v Vienna (was it?) in the 90's and Seaman's save against Sheff Utd a few years back above it.
Same here.

I'd also put Rob Green's save the other month against Spurs above the Gordon one, impressive though it was.

Bosnich v Coventry tops them all.

Was that the one where he turned in mid-air?

That's the one. I'm not sure if it's online anywhere but it was the best ever.

Bosnich made some outstanding saves for us.  Several in the league cup game away at Sunderland, but the one that sticks in my head was one from Collymore against Liverpool at home.  I think we lost anyway, but Collymore had a shot that was heading for the top corner, and Bosnich somehow managed to fly across the goal and get his hand to it.

In my opinion, he had the raw talent to become the best keeper in our history. Instead he was seduced by the lights of fame and fortune elsewhere and his career just disintegrated. At least Yorke got a lot of out of his move. What a complete waste.

Seaman's save edges it for me but both amazing efforts!

Bosnich probably had a big hand in winning us the League Cup in 94 as well. Game at 2-1 and Hughes as a turn shot from about the 18 yard line. I'm in line with it as it seems destined for the corner of the net and Bozzie suddenly appears from nowhere to save it. I have a feeling that the resulting corner lead to the break that got us the Pen for 3-1.

Bosnich v Coventry tops them all.

I do remember that, wish I could see it again.   It must be on one of those round up of the season videos.

Seaman's was very special - he was no spring chicken then either.

I remember a Bosnich save that was heavily deflected and he just threw his foot out midair and kept it out.

Can't remember who against.
