Looking at the BBC website, Vassell played for 55 minutes for Leciester last night. No goals, but nice to see he's on his way back into football.

Barton is an absolute scouse twat. I'd love to give him a good hiding.
And if you see the footage again, notice the Geordie imbeciles in the crowd clapping and applauding after he did it.
He will almost certainly get a retrospective ban.

Also, who still thinks we shouldn't have gone for Carroll in the summer?

Me.

You've just described Barton as an absolute twat, and you're right, but Carroll is showing distinct signs of being every bit as big a twat - slapping women around, breaking Steven Taylor's jaw, constantly in aggro around the town, car getting torched.

He sounds like an accident waiting to happen, but most of all, I don't really want us to be signing anyone who thinks it is OK to beat women up.

Well, fair enough if that's true. His character was known to be a bit suspect and I agree that I would rather not have him if he kept that shit up, however many goals he scored.

But at the time (a year and a half ago) it was his ability we were discussing and that was in question.
I doubt it is now.

It's early days, but he has done very well since they were promoted.

It'd be a shame to see him piss it all up the wall by being a twat, though. Witness also Barton last night, recently playing well, behaving himself, even whispers - faint ones - of him getting back near the England squad, then he goes and does that. What a tit.

So how come there isn't the same uproar from people on here and in the press on Holloway making 10 changes on Wednesday and 11 today? Is it because we probably benefited or because it wasn't against Manure. I'm waiting for the fine as they set a precedent last season with McCarthy who actually made less changes.

Spurs 1-0 up.  Bale again.  From a Van der Vaart cross.

Should be 2.  Pavlyuchenko missed a pen.

I expect them to win. They haven't played in midweek in Europe.

They may well do now.  2-0 up.  Pavlyuchenko got on the end of another Bale cross.

Oddly enough, only 1 other goal in all the rest of the matches (Bolton 1-0 up at the Moulinex).

Let's hope the Blues get a draw in that case. Are there two more boring teams in the Prem than Man City and the Blues? Stoke maybe?

It might be them but a good result for the bluenoses if they hold Citeh.

Pitiful following from Small Heath at City today.  Nobody in the top tier and lots of empty seats in the bottom.

Just the usual then, took about 600 to Stoke, their fans have got to be on level with Fulham
