Gutted. Especially after seeing the 1974-1981 mock ups

I'd be happy if we got rid of the checks.

Like the Black Away but not as an away kit, Should be white/claret trimming or yellow at worst.

I'l stick with my 1982-1983 Davenports home

The kits are all horrible. I was laughing at the Arsenal keepers kit and now weve ended up with the same.

I wont be buying any of them.

Compare ours to this. I am sure we have got much the better deal! Awful.

Will it be tight fitting like the red England top.

I do hope so as I'll have the ladies swooning all over me at Villa Park lol

(just don't look at the belly)

Probably depends on what size you buy.

From looking at the pictures the most worrying thing was the state of Stewart Downing. I thought it was a fan with that belly and moobs protruding through his new Villa shirt.

http://bit.ly/a198Qg pics 21 + 22.

Where's our representative's pics?

Percy?

For what it's worth I like the black away one - hopefully the fxpro won't look too red. and the home isn't too bad after all.  better than this years.

I f****n' hate claret socks.

Seconded.

Claret shirt with blue sleeves, white shorts and blue socks. Shouldn't deviate from that imo.

Thirded.  The kit looks too dark with claret socks.  The shirts look okay at first until you notice the checks, which ruin them.  I suppose quite a few people were complaining about the similarity of the previous kits so they had to do something a bit different. Pity it had to be such Hummel style cheapness.  Bring on a deal with Adidas I say, they've been making the best shirts for years.  I quite like some of the Puma stuff as well.

The keeper top is shite but I like the home and away shirts. I'm a big fan of bringing back the claret socks as well.

Nike have done a great job on all the kits they've produced for us, especially compared to the monstrosities we had around ten years ago.
