Disappointing from Bears last night. Shame Bell couldn't play seeing as England don't want him... could have given some much needed stability near the top of the order.

If anybody's planning on attending Edgbaston on Sunday be warned the Bears game has been moved to 11am, presumably to avoid a clash with the football.

Re: above. The Bears helmets are shit. You don't want your batsmen to resemble Golden Ducks! Shamefully, I quite like Worcester's camouflage kits.

Its at Notts is is it not !!?

Trent Bridge it is at 11am

Oophs sorry, it only flashed up quick on Sky Sports News and I obviously read it incorrectly. Best not turn up for Edgbaston at all then!

Not going well for Bears. 49/4 off 11.1 chasing 150.

England should let us have Bell if they don't want him.

Steve Harmison rips out the lower order (7 for 29) and Bears suffer another Championship defeat.  When will relegation be confirmed?

When Giles fails to sign this mystery batsman we are after?

I see the fantastically prolific Westwood scored a grand total of 7 over the two innings.

Good solid 20/20 win today against the Yorkies.....155 was competitive but when they got 40 off 4 overs i was worried but the spinners pulled it back and to win by 35 runs in the end meant it wasnt even close.......now if only we could play Championship Cricket

Well done Bears, looking good for the quarter-finals now.

That Tino Best is a bit of a twat... he was mouthing off at Carter after he got him out. Bearing in mind he's not even good enough to get in the worst West Indies side of all time you'd think he'd want to keep a low profile.

Pretty poor that none of the Northerners could be arsed to clap Warwickshire off at the end either.

Westwood looked like a losing captain at the toss this morning. How are we getting on?

312/4.

Unless Yorkshire make a ludicrous declaration it already looks like the best we can hope for is a draw.

I think we need to re-think our policy of picking English players. I don't mind losing players to England but to the England fucking Lions? If England won't help us we should stop helping them, get a load of Kolpak players in.

And why isn't Rashid in the England Lions team?

Because he went away with the England team to South Africa despite requests from Yorkshire not to take him and they changed his action and he returned with his confidence shot to pieces. Not the first time it's happened to one of our bowlers.

He's getting plenty of overs with Yorkshire to rebuild his confidence.

Not following the County Championships means every time I click on this thread and see the name Westwood I think it's a Golf Thread.

I see he's no better at cricket than golf.

Threat of rain and bad light in Leeds this morning may delay the inevitable for the bears!
