Yes, Randy hid the sponsorship stash in a cake tin and then we spent it on a fantastic picnic with ham and turkey sandwiches, bags of lettuce, hard-boiled eggs, heaps of tomato, and lashings of ginger beer.

Don't forget the bouncy castle! That was the bestest!

Hasn't Randy told you where he put the sponsorship money? He told everybody else. Maybe he doesn't trust you?

Doesn't trust Mon is more likely, If he told me I'd spend it on a good drink for the lads and lasses on here, we need it

Aye.

Would be ideal for how we play.

Less injury prone than JC too.

Me too. Even if I am sick of seeing us only try to score from a cross.

I'm surprsed that people are bored of the way we play, but want us to sign Crouch.

Crouch is very good on the ground and has a great first touch.

I wonder what % of his goals actually do come from headers.

Point taken Paul, but with us tending to play with two wingers, we'd be forever putting crosses in. I personally think Keane would be the better bet. He's completely different to what we've already got.

Just read that the mcgeady deal is pretty much dead in the water after its been confirmed spartak moscow have lodged a 9.5m offer, effectively pricing us out of a move.
Im not convinced he's what we need anyway (striker, cm anyone?) but typical of MON and his customary transfer window fuck around. he could have been signed weeks ago-surely its not that hard?! make an offer that gets refused, find out their value, make an offer thats half way between the two and settle for a couple of million less than they want. medical, personal terms, sign on fee, smile and hold a shirt----bosh, job done.

Sell Heskey/buy Crouch would be decent but can't see a) 'Arry selling and b) him coming back here.

Remind me again who we bought last summer, when did we buy them and were they any good?

If you're not convinced he's what we need, then why the long rant? Celtic put a price on him, MON obviously dose'nt feel he's worth it so has'nt taken it any futher.

Yes that was last season and what a great start we had........outplayed by Wigan at home and out of Europe by the end of August

I would also argue that we had a lot more money to spend probably up to
3 times as much than the £10m we have this season so MON could afford to wait until the last minute
