Thing is though there just doesn't seem anything to get excited about, no signings, Milner is leaving, People are linking Ashley Young away. No kit, People are talking about not renewing.

I want to see a great signing, I want to go wow fuck me im getting a season ticket I can't bear to miss this. I want somethin to excite the fans and players alike. I just want my enthusiasm back!!!

My sentiments entirely month. I just want my enthusiasm back. It's not really a lot to ask.

Looks like numbers 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 could be free next season. Warnock will take 3 but the rest need to filled.

Over to you, Martin.

I honestly don't get why it's 'bleak'?

The Milner thing is nothing we haven't experienced many times before with the likes or Yorke and Barry.  I also would have only expected one player in by now, basing things on Martin's previous summer schedule, so not too worried there.

My view is that we're going to have a busy and exciting January, but then that's because I think the players will be coming in.

EDIT - my bad, that was meant to say August.  I think we'll see a busy and exciting August!!

Agree with you John, we will get a few players in before the window shuts. But we have a enough quality personel to be getting on with for now. Definetely to beat West Ham, Newcastle and Everton!

.....................Friedel..........................
Cuellar.....Collins....Dunne......Warnock
...................NRC...Petrov.....................
......Milner.......Young......Downing.......
..................Agbonlahor.......................

Subs: Guzan,Lichaj,Davies,Albrighton,Bannan,Carew,Delfouneso

I'm glad we're playing hard ball with Milner and hope he stays. With the  Euro 2012 qualifyers starting in September, he will still put in 100% to ensure he gets in Capello's squad.

That does look a pretty strong team, strong enough to get some results in our first few games. I think we'll get a couple of new faces in,and if Milner doesnt go,I don't think he'll be one to act like a cnut and under perform.

It's the same team as last season with Nige in for Carew, something we all know MON isn't gonna do...

How does NRC get a spot he's been ignored for the last twelve months, can't see MON using him. We could be busy in January................ if we have a new manager.

well he'll play 4-4-2 baring injuries or sold players. if he don't get the players he wants then he may go that way, but it will be back to 4-4-2 as soon as.
