Looks like he's still with Zagreb, nothing on either the Wolfsburg or Zagreb websites shows him signing for them......

I dread McGeady like I dread plague. This really would worry me as to whether he really knows what goes on outside the Isles. I mean, fine, Premier League experience is a good reason to sign players from England, but Scotland? And God-awful nothings like McGeady who would cost an absolute premium? That would represent insanity and either intransigence or no idea how to change.

He's available on a loan deal and hull are paying towards his wages wherever he goes- on a pay as you play stop gap deal he would be cover for delph.

Delph is out a few months and we need cover for him- what's wrong with loaning someone on a short term deal, rather than spending millions on a player who will probably be a reserve anyway in a few months?

If you think we are going to break the top 4  this year then I suggest you take a reality check- I think top 6 will be a great achievement in the current financial climate!

Not sure signing an injury-riddled midfielder to cover for an injured midfielder is the soundest approach - even if a loan deal eases some of the risk. As for pay as you play deals... not sure how they work. Do they even exist? Can't see many footballers agreeing to them.

We need midfielders though, completely agree. To me, it's fast becoming our No.1 priority. We're looking really light in there.

A lot of players pissed all over our midfield at that time.  Of all the ones we should sign, I think the frequently injured 31 year old on massive wages and with reported 'recreational habits' is right at the bottom of the list.

Do you honestly think that is a realistic target this year? I don't think even MON thinks its possible.
