Cheers Sid. Did an easy 7K today, we've got interval training tomorrow, our local run club on Thursday (where we don't do much to be honest), parkrun Saturday, then long run again on Sunday, although this is a de-loading week so that's only 10K.

I've booked a tour package. There's the charity option which reduces the entry a fee a bit, but we've raised a fair bit for this half we're doing in April, so didn't want to ask people again. You can get some cheap flights to NYC at the moment, less than £500 return.

It sure does.
Check out if Nike are doing the limited edition t-shirts this year, they only used to sell at the Nike Store on 5th and only to entrants.

Run The Empire shirts. They used to be hot property.

Don’t underestimate the elevation gain, as you’ll know the avenues are undulating and I can tell you from experience you’ll know about it.

It’s an absolutely amazing race and place to be that weekend. Enjoy.

New Stafford Half Marathon PB at the ninth attempt - 1:48:11.

If only my parking had been as good as my running today.

Brilliant, well done Richard!

Had a slightly frustrating weekend with the running. Have got a small amount of metatarsalgia in my left foot, so I took it easy at parkrun yesterday, and had a bit of a plod round. Then today we were supposed to be doing an 18K, but the route we chose was like running through a stream due to all the rain so we decided we'd only do 10K instead.

Raring to go for our first ever half marathon 3 weeks today.

That should be SPOTY tied up right there. Jasmin Paris becoming the first woman to finish the frankly, utterly insane Barkley Marathons. Jon, ever had the urge to write an application?!
