All the hummel kits looked atrocious, bar the 1989/90 one -and even that looked a bit cack with go faster stripes on the sleeves and socks.

The 1992/93 kit seems to have aged very well. I can look at pictures or videos from that period and it doesn't look naff. Not quite the right shade of claret, but overall a good effort.

Would have to be the 1980/81 kit for me. I'd love to see Nike do a contemporary version of that, with the striped collar and right shade of claret.

I liked the Diadora NTL one - just claret.

The JPA shirt as well.....and that black one of the same period was great as well.

Not my all-time favourite but always liked this shirt, David Platt got 20+ goals in it, we beat Inter Milan and lots of BFR's new signings all wore it for one season in 1991-92.

I think we've gone downhill in our kit designs recently.

IMO we're taking the traditional thing a bit too seriously.

My first Villa shirt, beautifully modelled by Cyrille Regis...

Actually, it was more of a rip-off version where my mum had to sew the badge on, but I wore it to death anyway. I bought a proper version off eBay a couple of years ago and it's my lucky shirt.

First 'proper' was the 92-93 home shirt with the laces. Still got it, but I remember my mum being mortified when I bought it home and told her I'd spent all my birthday money on it.

One of my favourite away kits was the one that year, same design except white with blue and black.

This is the worst Villa home kit - i dont even mind the Hummel halves of the late 80s compared to this.

This one? often worn with blue shorts but i prefered it with the black seen here.

TBH there are a number of kits from the 80's I would wear even now. The 83-85 away shirt in particular would look great down the pub.
