I think there's an understanding in US sport that the divisional format and playoff structure can throw up unfair quirks. Teams just have to get on with it I guess.

I'd be happy with anyone who hasn't won it ever/for a long time winning it. So basically anyone apart from HOU, ATL LAD and PHI (PHI to a lesser extent).

Well…if I had have tried to predict the winners of the Divisional Round, I’d have got three of the four wrong.

I’d have gone for Astros over Twins, but would not have predicted the Rangers, Diamondbacks and Phillies.

I used to get up about 6am and watch the games 'as live' (fast forwarding through the ads), but I'll probably just go for MLB.com's 'Condensed Game' option.

I watch hardly any full games these days. In the past decade, I've watched more full games in person than I have on TV.

It seems that the easier it is to watch Baseball, the less I do.

I kind of miss the days when I had to get people in the USA to video games and mail the tapes over to me.
