Can't stand her. Can't say I've been missing it so I'll leave it until I hear of something that makes me to take a look. I watched most of it at x30 speed any way to be honest - pausing briefly to watch the Diva's and stay up-to-date with the storylines.

Not seen Over The Limit yet, but Guy, you're right, the commercial free Raw was incredible. Orton's twist on Edge was superb.

This is good, makes it easier to find.

Haven't seen any WWE in weeks, what's going on? I think I might be getting slightly bored of it, again.

I really enjoyed the NXT Invasion angle. Reminds me of the ECW/WCW Invasion but I'm interested to see how it will play out. Raw seems to have been a bit better these last few weeks.

You still here, VS?

Got a text from my bro last night saying how good the end to RAW was. I'm a week behind but heard similar stuff from one of my fellow wrestling freaks at work and couldn't wait so got someone to share the links below with me.

If you haven't already seen what TimVilla wrote above, don't scroll up, just hit these links and watch:

Part 13 of 14
Part 14 of 14

I LOVED it for so many reasons. Totally unexpected.

Makes me laugh when you see fully grown men and women at these events looking like they're in complete shock. You can still enjoy it when you know it's storylined and that a lot of the moves are fake and you expect kids to fully believe it but to see some of the images of adults in that second video is just funny.

I'm a fairly intelligent bloke (don't believe what CV or VillaVA might try and tell you) and I've been watching wrestling for almost 20 years, but there are still things that can surprise me. The way they handled this week's ending of RAW being a good example.

That being said I doubt I've ever exhibited the look of true shock you're probably talking about (because I DO know what you mean) but it doesn't make me laugh, more disappointed that some people really do seem to be as stupid as I suspect.

TimVilla: my brother mentioned it. Will be interesting to see whether he's supposed to have run scared from Daniel Bryan et al or whether he'll prove to be part of the faction. Would set up well for JR's return at some point then.

It's nice to have our WWE thread back and things worthy of discussion, isn't it?

It's not the type of surprise where there's a plot twist. I mean the real look of concern on the faces of 3 people as they saw Cena carried off. You would think a repeat of the Owen Hart incident had happened or something.

I thought Michael Cole was found underneath the Commentator's desk when they pulled it up.

I haven't been watching for a while - what has Cena done to ensure that nobody from the Raw locker room came running out to help him?

Bryan Danielson has been fired from WWE... For strangling (kayfabe) a colleague with a tie. A senior exec within WWE complained that kids might try to copy it. So, there'll be no more clotheslines, low blows, poke to the eyes, elbow drops, etc...

The Attitude/Monday Night Wars was the best era and now all they seem to want to do is make everything PG. They will end up losing massive amounts of ground to the UFC.

They've been PG for quite a while and merchandise sales seem as strong as ever. PPV buyrates are down, but perhaps that's more due to streaming than PG? PG hasn't had as much of an impact as I feared it would.

That was my single favourite moment of last week's invasion. In a world of PG (which I don't actually have a problem with), it was as brutal as they could get and stood out as a result. It was raw (pun intended), it was real.

Looks like it might be a temporary thing. Pressure from the network or someone high up. As you rightly say, Tim, if they're worried about someone being strangled with a tie, then it will be interesting to see what else people get sacked for in future.
