I just stayed away from the thread until I had seen it. Finished it last night.

Wow. That was the worst Wrestlemania in the history of Wrestlemanias. And Bret Hart against Vince McMahon was quite possibly the worst match I have ever seen.

You've not seen many Wrestlemanias, then.

As it happens, no, not really. About 8 or 9. Don't you think it was terrible though? I've not really been watching wrestling regulary for a while and I was still able to predict the winners of most of the matches. I thought most of the matches were mediocre at best.

I didn't think it was wonderful; HBK/Taker was about what I expected, I enjoyed it, loved the end (it's pretty much what I bought the PPV for). The MitB match was silly, sloppy chaos as ever, it was fun; Punk/Rey could've done with an extra 5-10 mins, but it was a nice preview of things to come from those two. Whoever laid out the Bret match needs to be punched in the throat. Awful, just awful, but when you have a 64 year old man vs a man who might die from a blow to the head, there's not a lot you can expect, but it should've been better. I barely remember the rest, but there were 3 solid matches, so I was happy enough.

Thank you. Finally saw it last night. Fantastic, really enjoyed. Will watch Raw tonight or tomorrow. It looked like 'Taker really messed up his leg there?

I wasn't sure if it was planned. Like, to give this years match a different element to last years have Taker hurt his leg early on and then have Michaels go for it.

Either way, great match.

I meant the Moonsault at the end.

Overall, thought the whole event was great. Even though it was very forced, it was great to see Bret finally get his revenge on Vince.

I thought all the matches were good, particulary enjoyed the Legacy triple threat.

Does anybody here get Powerslam magazine? Very good Jericho and Dibiase Sr interviews this month.

I enjoyed WM, but they could have done with removing a match/shortening the Bret/Vince match.

The tag team match was way too short, the divas match was weird. Apart from that, a really solid match. I was hoping Rey would join SES as that would have been an interesting twist.

Apparently, that is the end of the VKM character, so every cloud & all that.

Interesting to see RKO as a face now, not sure that will last too long. If Batista is really taking a sabbatical soon there are too many Raw faces and not enough heels...

Had to get up early this morning to get my 8 year old nephew tickets for Raw at the LG Arena

Three rows from the ring, he'd better be grateful

Just glad I aint got to go with him :-)

All the Raw Wrestlers are stuck in Europe apart from from Triple H. Was Basically a Smackdown show last night.
