I liked the letter on the Bears' official site that said the Bears should sign Favre and then switch Urlacher to wide receiver seeing as Favre is so good at throwing the ball to him!

To be fair to Brett though, he is very good at throwing to a number of opposing players. In fact he is so good he has done it more times than anyone.

Chicago Bears have chosen Kyle Orton as starting QB in preference to Rex Grossman.

In the end it comes down to a gut feeling that you have, and I feel good about Kyle leading our team.

Jeez, it's a little like choosing to poke yourself in the eye or drop a hammer on your big toe.

We'll see my friend, we'll see.

I have got to keep believing that Coach Lovie knows best. Now where have I heard something similar to that before?

In Lovie we trust  :-

I have to say I think that Grossman is better then Orton even if he does fumble the ball every other snap.

More importantly - we need an offensive line!

Chris Williams has signed for the Bears to baulk up the Offensive Line - and then promptly got himself injured. Are the Bears Villa in disguise?

And is this just a Chicago Bears thread? Its all gone quite from the Fudge Packers and the Minnesota Purple Penis Eaters!

I'm currently in New York Penn Station, about to head for Boston.

Damn, I forget to buy a Jets Favre jersey.

I've only seen one quy wearing a Favre as a Jet top.... and that was in Baltimore.

I see that the "Pac Man" is back in the league..... for a couple of weeks at least.

A Favre Jet's jersey... that just seems so odd.

Along the lines of seeing Troy Aikman wearing a 49ers jersey!

Why anyone would want anything with Favre on it is beyond me. Actually let me take that back. Toilet paper with his picture on might sell well.

These King of the World titles are getting very specific.

Patriots 0 - 4 in pre season play.

Four games is excessive. Its time that the NFL switched to just two pre season games and extended the regular season to 18
