The New York Football Giants have certainly improved since their Wembley appearance.

Yes, they deserved to win, but it took an incredible catch to get them into scoring position. Just before that mini-Manning was almost intercepted by Samuel for a game-ending turnover.

At least one Scotsman was on a winning team on Sunday !!

I stayed up to watch it, but fell asleep during Tom Petty!

Typical, just as I'm starting to sort of understand how the game works (My flat mate is married to an American so he explained what that 1st and 10 stuff meant!) the season finishes. So I have when does the season start again?

September.

I had the good fortune to be able to watch the game in bed this year. That meant instead of falling asleep ont he couch I got to fall asleep in bed.

Tom Petty did it for me too.

Actual season starts in September but there's a month of pre-season games before that and training camp before that. Players report to camp sometime in late July.

Therefore, you're looking at more like 7 months for players who's team make the Superbowl

Had tickets for theSuperbash this year.  Top night out and a great game.  I can tell you though, in this 24hr city you can't even get a cup of coffee at 4am, let a lone another pint and a fry up.

Was a tremendous game - well done the Giants, I had a feeling they might do it.

I watched the pre-match for an hour and half, wondering how much longer it was going to last and then fell asleep when it was still 0-0.

I Sky+'d it and watched it before I went to work this morning. Cutting out all the ceremonies, adverts and huddles meant that I saw the whole game in 45 minutes.

Always watch it...best final I have seen. Manning in that last drive was simply awesome...THAT throw & THAT catch were something very special. Couldn't believe that he actually got free to deliver it let alone find someone...couldn't believe my eyes when matey came down with the ball....

Shame they couldn't do it this year too.
