Any updates on 'our' team then? Are they doing ok still?

Ian, they played in a blizzard yesterday and made the play-offs for the first time in 5 years. Mr Lerner will be very proud.

I thought they had another 2 games to play and that they could still be caught?

Yep, the Cleveland Villains need one more win to clinch a playoff spot and still have a chance of catching the Pittsburgh Steelers for the AFC North title.

From ESPN.....
Quote

The Browns' snow-covered home victory over Buffalo gives Cleveland a shot at the fourth seed in the AFC, behind New England (14-0), Indianapolis (12-2) and resurgent San Diego (9-5). The Chargers, suddenly hotter than the seat Norv Turner inhabited much of the season, need only to defeat Denver at home and Oakland on the road to claim the third seed in the conference.

If the Chargers hold up their end, the second-place team in the AFC North -- Cleveland or Pittsburgh -- likely would visit San Diego as the sixth seed in the wild-card round.

The Browns can clinch a playoff berth by winning in Cincinnati in Week 16. Cleveland probably needs to win out against the Bengals and the 49ers to overtake the Steelers in the AFC North. Pittsburgh plays at St. Louis on Thursday night before finishing the regular season in Baltimore.

The Steelers' regular-season sweep of the Browns gives Pittsburgh a good shot at claiming the fourth seed as the AFC North champion.

Another very big game for the Browns today "The battle of Ohio". Playing away at one of their divisional rivals, The Cincinnati Bengals (bungals). A win tonight puts them in the play-offs for the first time since 2002, it would be lovely to do at Cincinnati.

They're live on Sky at 6pm for the 2nd week running.

When these two played at the Browns in week 2 of the season it was a wonderful mad game that ended 51-45 in favour of the Browns. It was also the first start for the Browns super new quarterback Derek Anderson.

Watch out for Braylon Edwards who will break the Browns record for most in a season if he gets one tonight.

The big question of the day is how many points the Patriots will put on the Dolphins

I've never watched a game of American Football in my entire life, have no idea how it works etc. But this evening I'll be glued to the box cheering on my new Third sports team to victory against the Bungles

Browns are getting murdered.

Why do some of the players wear bum bags?

Browns lost 19-14.

Not sure what that means now for their Wild Card play off hopes?

Its bad news. The Browns have to beat the 49ers and hope that Tennessee lose against the Colts. fingers crossed.
