How are New England doing?

Beat Miami yesterday and are now 4-1.

Looks lile stories of Tom & Bill's demise were a bit premature

What about dem Bears. 5-0 for the first time since 1986, although the Bills did manage to score a passing touchdown at Soldier Field, a feat that had not been achieved for almost a year.

We have scored 156 points in 5 games, and only conceded 36.

Can anyone stop these Monster of the Midway ???

Was very, very impressed with the Bears.

As for the Cowboys I nearly gave up after that awful start, but at least they battled and I thought it was a great game. Even at the end I thought they'd force overtime but alas Drew had other ideas with yet another crap pass.

Still, the Skins only scored 3! (Sorry Julie)  :smt002

Joe Thiesmann (sp) on yesterdays "Dan Patrick Radio Show" said that da Bears could go unbeaten this season.

Well they have finally added an attack to go with the defense. Last season we kept most teams scoring low and managed to win by one score.

It was almost a case of more points were scored by the defense in interceptions and fumble recoveries then by the offense.

Now we are just steam rolling everbody so far. Only Minesota has given us a close game.

The Patriots are always going to be tough, especially at their place, and we do have to play the Vikings again, albeit at Soldier Field. We also need to go to St Louis to play the Rams, but they have been leaking a lot of points despite being 4-1 so far this season. Beyond these three, I cannot see where we will lose (unless we slip on the proverbial banana skin). All these 3 games are back to back. The rest of the teams we have to play are a collective 9-29, with the last three teams we face in the regular season (Tampa Bay, Detroit and Green Bay) so far winning only one game to 13 losses between them !!!

Maybe we could have done with facing someone better opposition, because if we are going to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy, sooner or later we are going to have to grind out a victory.

Yep - 3TD's against the mighty Houston Texans. Who cares if he isn't talking to the Wide Recievers coach anymore?!

Our boys were losing 3-6 at half time too!

Probably the Raiders

Great in the early 80's.
Multiple coaching changes (including bringing back an ex-coach)
A egotistical owner who won't listen to anybody

The main difference is that whilst Villa seem to have corrected their problems, the Raiders are still plumbing the depths and haven't won a game all season.

As for the rest of the Prem League, I'll take the "can't be arsed" option.

Bears most certainly got out of jail free last night. I was about to go to be with the score at 23-3, and Arizona regaining possession, but I took a detour via the downstairs bog, and when I got back to turn the TV off, I noticed the score had changed to 23-10, with the Bears forcing a turnover and scoring a touchdown. So I decided to stay up, just in case the impossible happened, and boy did it happen. My wife was a little pissed off with me because I almost woke the kids each tiem the Bears scored, then with the clock running down, Arizona had a field goal to clinch the voctory back. Up stepped their kicker. The commentators announced that he had not missed from inside 50 yards, to which I replied, out loud (I don't know why I did it out loud as I was alone), "He hasn't until now!!!", just as the ball was snapped. It wne tback cleanly, and was spotted without an issue, but the kicker sliced his kicked.

I remember the days when the Villa used to give me this kind of energy rush, and I think they are starting to come back at B6. Long may it last on both sides of the ocean  =D>
