You've really got to take your hat off to the Patriots.
In a competition that's designed for teams not to dominate long term they've been at the top for 8 seasons.

Yep, remarkable longevity.

Would temper it slightly by saying their division has been so piss poor for such a long time, that they've almost had a bye into the playoffs most years. The Jets, Bills and Dolphins have all been abysmal for well over a decade.

It's actually 18 years. Even the two years they didn't make the playoffs they had a winning record. I don't like the bastards but doubt we'll see anything like this again once it ends. Which it will. Soon. Hopefully.

I actually remember cheering for them against the Rams back in the Super Bowl about a million years ago as they were seen as the plucky underdog.

If only I had known...

HT show is shit. It's somehow managed to be less exciting than the first half.

I thought it was just me.

It's worse than watching us at the moment.

So the most boring game on the planet, apparently produced the most boring Super Bowl of all time. Blimey those Americans sure do know how to put a show on.

I've struggled to get interested this season (and last), missing one London game each year for the first time and not watching games every week.

I haven't even been reading about games or watching highlights.

In fact, most of my NFL info has been coming from a mate who's still obsessed and watches every TV game.

I've loved this season but mainly because of the Bears revival. The SB was poor though. Rams let down the NFC. Where on earth where their fans too ?

Just watched the 5 minutes highlights on BBC. Even that was boring.
