Had a dream that Da Bears had traded for Collins and I was really annoyed, thinking 'how stacked do we need to get at Linebacker, the rest of our team is poor'.

Jamie Collins traded to the Browns from the Patriots for a conditional 3rd round pick

Jamie asked for Von Miller money. Bill said he'd think about it. Jamie went to sleep 7-1 and woke up 0-8.

Bill seems to prefer to jettison a player a year too early rather than risk paying for declining years. However, it'll be interesting to see how he deals with Gronk and Golden Boy

Oh I think it was announced that one of the games in the International Series next year will be the Saints @ Dolphins.

Or to put it another way: the saint against BRITAIN'S JAY AJAYI dolphins.

Watched the Raiders against the Broncos this morning.

Very impressed with the Raiders. Played well on both sides of the ball. Denver's defence is still mighty but they have nothing on offense. Oakland at Foxborough for the AFC championship I reckon.

We play you soon I think, in the crunch 'Battle for the 2nd draft pick behind the Browns'.

I'm in NY the week before Xmas and staying over the weekend of 17/18 December.

Sports wise there's not a whole lot going on Saturday apart from Jets v Dolphins at the MetLife in NJ. Is it worth it?  I mean The Jets are shit aren't they?  Can't be there for Sundays Giants game sadly as got a late flight out of JFK to catch.

Any advice?

Jets look weak at QB right now. Have a stellar Defensive Line, although 2 of the best players in it were benched recently as they keep turning up late for team meetings.

Dolphins have been on a good run lately and have Britain's Jay Ajayi at Running Back.

They'll both get more wins than the Bears  :'(

College football - can't see much beyond Crimson Tide again for this, and be interesting  to see if two Big 10 teams make it to the final 4 as per current rankings.

As ever OU blew it early doors with that silly defeat to what's looking like a pretty poor Houston and the defence has looked ropey all season long despite the exceptional offence.

Will have to check the College Football standings. Hardly ever get to see any of those games though.

Seahawks release Christine Michael and Packers immediately pick him up, could be a good signing for them if they can keep him focused.

Thanks, so not as bad as I thought then, may be worth a trip out of the city into the wastelands of Rutherford NJ.

Hope you enjoy the game if you go Jon.

I was watching a Turkish TV Series on Netflix last night, called 'Magnificent Century'. It is about Suleiman the Magnificent.

I was slightly perturbed that Suleiman seems to have been portrayed by Aaron Rodgers.

Have a feeling that the UK International Series games for 2017 should be announced soon, maybe this Sunday?

Bears play the 49ers this weekend, in a crunch match that could go a long way towards deciding who gets the 2nd pick in the draft behind the Browns.

As we could do with losing this one, no doubt we'll win.
