Spoiler for Hiden:
They didn't need to be out of sight, they just needed to not spectacularly fuck up like they did. Seahawks fans must feel like they've won the lottery. Even with the Safety, it was basically a hail mary and Clinton-Dix (another rookie who's been really good this season) didn't challenge.

Clinton-Dix.

What a name. Not quite the standard of Barkevious Mingo but its still a classic name.

I gave up just after the
Spoiler for Hiden:
Seahawks scored their first TD thinking that it was just a consolation. I'll watch the rest of the the game when I get home. I'd planned on avoiding the scores but the Seahawks' comeback even merited analysis on Beeb 5 Live this morning.

Do we really need the spoilers? Surely anyone who's avoiding the scores would just not click on the NFL thread... as I managed to do all day?

Anyway, while I enjoyed the end of the Packers game I still think it's unfair that they didn't get the chance to score a touchdown of their own in overtime. The rules are better than previously but I'd still prefer a straight period of overtime. If still level at the end (and it's a playoff game) go for a two-point conversion shoot-out.

That is what they do in the Canadian Football League, both teams get a chance to play from the oppositions own 35 yard line. 3 downs and the least you should get is a field goal, great viewing it can be too.

Firstly the refs should check things like whether the balls have enough air in them. Secondly, it's the same for both teams so I'm not sure where the advantage is. If true, it's a stupid thing to do. I think Brady would have been ok either way.

Has Brady got much smaller hands than Andrew Luck?  :-)

Is there any chance of the Patriots being forced out of the Superbowl and the Packers being given their place? I didn't think so.

No chance (although, even as a sort-of Pats fan due to them being near Boston, I'd love to see them kicked out just for the chaos).

Outside chance of BB being banned if he's linked to the deflation. More likely a fine and/or loss of a draft pick.

It depends whether the Pats are still on doublesecretprobation from Spygate.

Fine and loss of a 1st round draft pick would probably be the punishment.

The Patriots are the Chelsea of American Football.

The Seattle Seahawks did their Super Bowl media day session on Tuesday afternoon, and all eyes were on running back Marshawn Lynch.

As anticipated, Beast Mode didn't have much to say. In fact, he only said one thing—over and over.

"I'm here so I won't get fined."
