The P.I call that actually wasn't and was correctly overturned.

The Lions scored 3 points in the second half. That's why the Cowboys won the game.

Off to Lambeau we go...

I went to bed at half time of the Dallas-Detroit game. At that point it looked like it was Detroit's game all day long.

I would rather have been playing Carolina. I think Dallas will be a close game, hopefully we'll get over the line but even if we do, I think I'm right in saying that the winner will have to go to Seattle for the divisional title. I can't see us winning that.

I nearly did too OCD. It looked like Detroit had all the answers.

Can't wait for the game next week, Lambeau is one of my favourite grounds and somewhere I'd love to see. Never had any hatred for the Cheeseheads at all but obviously hope you're all disappointed next Sunday!

It should be a high scoring game. Hopefully Aaron is over his calf issues having had the extra week. Whatever happens, you would think the Superbowl winners will come from the NFC.

Just to keep you all up to date with Da Bears situation (I know you're all fascinated):-

We've hired a GM. Was with the Saints for 14 years.

We've interviewed Mike Shanahan/Broncos Off. Co-od/Seahawks Def. Co-od/Cardinals Def. Co-od.

I'd like whichever Defensive Coordinator is the shoutiest out of them.

I think my love for Aaron Rodgers has just reached that worrying level.

It would be interesting to know whether they had decided to protect his calf in the first half and risk it in the second half if needed or when we were 8 behind, Aaron just thought fuck it and take the risk. The drive for the third touchdown was the Green Bay that we know though.

Davante Adams had the best game I've seen from him yet.

Obviously the call near the end will be a big talking point. I think it's the right call with the current set of rules but the rules will have to be looked at again. Great challenge from McCarthy though. We hadn't won a challenge all season up until that.

I'll be amazed if we win at Seattle though. We're not the same team on the road and it's the sort of game where Aaron has to be 100%.

Both the Ravens and the Cowboys looked like they might pull off unlikely wins.

Think the Patriots will make the Superbowl now, the Ravens are tougher than the Colts.

I thought the no-catch was the correct call against Bryant, as he didn't maintain possession. If he hadn't have stretched for the goal line, he'd probably have maintained possession.

Was weird watching the Packers - Cowboys game and thinking that either QB could end up going off injured and if they did then their team would probably lose.

I think the Seahawks are favourites against the Packers.

Peppers deserves credit for his turnover that would have almost certainly been a touchdown but for his athleticism. That and McCarthy's challenge were game changers.

It might have been a more comfortable win if it hadn't been for the turnover when the ball was snapped too early and led to a touchdown. Similarly if Lang hadn't done the unnecessary roughness that stopped any chance of a touchdown and led to a field goal. We can't afford to do things like that against Seattle and Aaron needs to be fully on it.

One of the big differences in the second half was that you got rid of the ball quickly in passing plays, slant passes and so on. In the first half Rodgers was holding onto it for too long for your Offensive Line to protect him and he isn't elusive in the pocket with the calf strain.

To be fair we've got a good coaching team and quite often they make a difference at half times with their corrections.

Whereas ours just keep on ploughing ahead, making no adjustments whatsoever. I'm talking about you Mel Tucker!

Ohio State College champions, weren't they the rank-outsider of the final 4?

Yep, they were the last in. There was a good case to me made for either Baylor or TCU getting the fourth playoff spot but the committee went for Ohio State.

However, unlike for more of college football's history, the committee decision related to which team deserved the fourth playoff spot rather than who would be National Champions.

US media is speculating that this might be it for Manning (Peyton that is, rather than Eli or Chelsea)
