If you get the chance to see the highlights from the Steelers/Ravens game last night - do it!

Some of the highlights:

- Big Ben threw 6 touch down passes for the second week in a row (NFL record)
- Ravens getting called for 3 defensive penalties - on the same play!
- James Harrison playing like it was 2008
- James Harrison's multiple hits on Flacco
- The multiple fights that broke out
- The absolutely classless piece of shit that is Terrell Suggs chop blocking a running back from behind

Also 3 sacks in a row, something I'd never seen before (even with the many terrible Offensive Lines that Da Bears have had over the years).

The Suggs hit was very bad.

The Steelers retired 'Mean' Joe Greene's jersey at half-time during the game, only the second number they have ever retired.   It was a game fitting of him.

I don't think the Cowboys should rush him back, he had back surgery in the off-season. Also, you're only playing the Jaguars!

I saw that during the highlights. How on earth wasn't Joe's number retired already

Adrian Peterson takes a plea deal and pleads 'No Contest'

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11819670/adrian-peterson-minnesota-vikings-enter-plea-lesser-charge-felony-child-abuse-charge-avoid-jail

Hopefully he still won't be able to play for the rest of this season. I say that mainly as we still have to play them twice.

Three games announced for Wembley next year.  I was under the impression they were hoping for more?

There is a divisional game and two games back-to-back

Oct 4 - Jets @Dolphins
Oct 25 - Bills@Jaguars
Nov 1 - Lions @Chiefs

the back-to-back plan was leaked a while back.

looking forward to seeing the Bills. I might be able to talk UKR Sr. into attending that one. he used to regularly go to games in Buffalo when he worked for Xerox in Rochester, NY

I'm sure the back to back idea was going through their minds to test the resolve of the fans to see if they can sell both games out in preparation for having a permanent franchise there.   Maybe also test the Wembley pitch ;)

Interesting that they are having a divisional game there, although in terms of a local derby it's about as not local as you can get.

If an team does move to London, they'll be playing at least two home and then two away, so I can see the sense in the back-to-back test

Just your standard 79 yards throw, catch, fumble**, fumble, recovery, 99 yard return for a Touchdown; all in the one play

http://deadspin.com/receivers-blunder-turns-78-yard-td-catch-into-100-yard-1656480872

(** well, technically it was a fumble but the player deliberately dropped the ball)
