Here's how the Pitt Panthers started their game against Georgia Tech today
Four-yard run.
Lost fumble.
Lost fumble.
Incomplete pass.
Lost fumble.
Pass competed, receiver loses fumble.
And then the Pitt offense settled down and ran six consecutive plays before losing another fumble.
Not to be outdone, here's how the Pitt defense started the game:
Gave up 33-yard run.
Gave up 6-yard run.
Gave up 4-yard touchdown run.
Gave up 3-yard run.
Stopped run for 2-yard loss.
Gave up 79-yard touchdown pass.
Gave up 14-yard touchdown run.
Gave up 34-yard touchdown run.
Good start by Falcons 14-0.
What a farcical end to the game at Wembley. Stupid and unfair.

It was bizarre.
A couple of minutes to go and all ATL had to do was run three times and then punt to pin DET back at their goal line with maybe 15 seconds left. Instead ATL commit two penalties to give DET the ball with 1:40 left. A couple of great throws my Stafford then has DET in FG range.
For a reason that escapes me, DET runs a 3rd down play with 22 secs left and no time outs, which would have left them hurrying to get the FG unit on. However, ATL commit yet another penalty to give DET time to set up properly, only for DET to get called for a Delay of Game as the kick missed. They then slotted the re-kick.
BTW there were at least two other Delay penalties that weren't called earlier in the game.
The quality might have been lacking but that was the most interesting game I've seen at Wembley
It was all ATL's own fault. They were slicing DET apart with the passing game but when they got 21-0 up ATL went all negative, started running more at let DET edge their way back into the game.
I wondered whether it would happen. It's the problem when you haven't won for a while, you forget what to do when in a winning position. Just hope Villa don't do that.
Beginning to lose faith in Trestman. Whenever we play a team with a top quality quarter-back, we are utterly powerless to stop him. When you're in a division with Aaron Rodgers that's never gonna be good enough. Wouldn't be so bad if we could stop the run but we're pretty mediocre at that too!
We improve our record against Brady to 0-4
New Orleans-Green Bay game was evenly matched until Aaron started feeling his Hamstring and became less mobile in the pocket. 3 Turnovers after that, having gone ages without 1. The Bye week comes at a great time and now they've got to work on him to try and get him ready for the Bears game. Flynn's useless, even the Raiders could beat us with Flynn playing.

Flynn turned one good game against some scrubs at the end of a season into a lot of money.
He's now back where he should be, holding a clip-board in Green Bay
Stephen Tulloch already taught us you need to be careful celebrating a sack. And, you know, celebrating when you're down 25, even after a great sack, might not be a great idea. Anyway, here's Lamarr Houston of the Bears:

Hehehe, our Defensive Line has improved a lot this year, but our Linebackers are very poor. Tillman and Briggs are getting old and injury prone too.
Spoiler alert for Cowboys - Redskins game:
