You should drop Peterson on principle. However, some league settings prevent the dropping of high draft picks

Cut him. Replaced him with West, a Browns player! I'd probably be better keeping Peterson, at least he can't get minus yards...

Just about to head off for Wemberleeee

Our 'I-Spy' game of the day involves spotting NFL fans that either are not keeping up with the latest news or are intentionally being arseholes.

......of which of the following jerseys will we see the most ?

Rascists - Any Washington Football Team player

Domestic abusers - Ray Rice

Child abusers - Adrian Peterson

as always, the spotting competition will also include 'blokes wearing a Tom Brady jersey'. That's something that never looks right.

Adrian Peterson is one of the most popular nfl shirts, so I'd bet on that even though the Vikings aren't playing .

Good start to this game - finding the CBS commentators pretty patronising though.

You'd think after 7 years of these games at Wembley they'd realise the majority are educated about the game.

Will be there in person in November!!

The officiating was dreadful in the Packers-Bears game, to both sides. The was-it-or-wasn't-it just before half time was the turning point as it had been an even game until then with Aaron being hot but with us not having an answer to your rushes. Then Cutler just seemed to crumble under the pressure of being behind and not being able to put plays together and got desperate.

We didn't see a single Peterson jersey. This was surprising considering that the Vikings had a 'home' game at Wembley last season and there were plenty of Peterson's about then.

We did see two 'Ray Rices' and plenty of misc 'Washington Football Team' jerseys.

However, the winner was 'blokes wearing Brady jerseys'.

As for the game itself, the Raiders are truly dire.

The most successful part of the day was finding out that my new plan for leaving Wembley by heading towards Harrow worked a treat.

Dennis Allen might as well have stayed behind in London. As soon as they got back to NoCal, the Raiders fired him

In the 3 Bears matches I've watched (didn't watch Bills game, just Redzone) the officiating has been rubbish in every game, for both sides. It's odd, as they're usually so good. Even when they're going to replays, they're still making the wrong calls.

Not sure if it's just because they're struggling with all of the new rules, such as Incidental Contact.

No great surprise about the Raiders firing their coach.

I hadn't seen any poor officiating this season until that game. As you say, they're normally pretty good.

Changing sports for a minute but I was talking to a Personal Trainer mate of mine the other day and it turns out he trains Andrew Garrett, one of the Premier League's Linesmen. I didn't realise that its only referees that are professional. Garrett's a bank manager apparently and has to take time off work to run the line if he's somewhere like Sunderland in mid-week.

Against the 49ers they scored the first touchdown of the game after the playclock had long expired, should have been delay of game. They had a perfectly good touchdown ruled off for a non-existent hold. Bennett caught a pass before going out of bounds, they reviewed it and said it wasn't a catch, when it clearly was.

Against the Jets they ruled the play dead when Cutler fumbled and they should have let the play go on. Jets would have scored a touchdown. Also, on their last drive they were stopped on 4th down, but they said he'd made it. They reviewed this and still said he'd made it, when he was clearly short.

One nice little stat from the Packers - Bears game; it is only the second time in NFL history that neither side has punted (the other being in 1992, between the Bills and another team, who I forget).

I heard that stat during the game but didn't know if it finished like that (my stream dropped out before the end). Not sure what to read into that. Does that mean we both have good offences, both have bad defences or a mixture of both? Maybe the latter.
