I know little of the NFL but believe the technical for such a performance and position in a big game like this, is, pissing it.

Looks like the Patriots are done. Shame the Seattle-San Fran match isn't the early match.

I don't think that it means anything. Manning and his O-Line know exactly what's going on and all the shouting is just him taking the piss to prove that he's the smartest bloke out there.

Happy that the Patriots aren't in the Superbowl, I can enjoy it now.

SPOILER ALERT (For those who didn't stay up until 3am watching the second game), think I'm hoping the Seahawks win, but I'm not too worried either way. 49ers had some tough calls from the officials. I'd never heard of the running into, rather than roughing the kicker call before.

Finally watched and avoided Twitter etc all day...even avoided the Stuff on the telly thread once I saw UK redsox had posted on it!

Wanted Seahawks to win as I have developed a bit of a dislike for the 49ers after seeing them win at Candlestick and Wembley this season while wanting them to lose!  Seahawks offence not quite up to scratch against the Saints or here at times and I think the Broncos might actually prefer to play Seattle than San Fran.  Percy Harvin might be back though which gives them a choice at receiver.

I've developed a bit of a dislike for the 49ers too. Nothing to do with them beating my team in the Play-Offs 2 years on the trot. No siree.

I've thought Seattle would win it for a few months now so I can't back against them now.

Don't forget they beat you in the regular season too ;-)     Mind you, we're playing them next season, so I should shut up.

On CBS News this morning, the NFL to review the extra point kick as it's a 99.99999999999999999999999% certainty, could go for a 7 point score for a TD instead and no extra point kick.

The only downside to this is that it will remove any fake extra point attempts, where you go for 2.

Pretty rare that an extra point is missed, think the Jag's missed one this year and I can remember (I think) the Steelers kicking missing years ago in heavy wind and snow.

There's already been talk of eliminating kick offs and now they're on about removing the Extra Point. They'll have to rename the sport, "Ball".

There was some discussion re the fake and the fact it would be lost entirely from the game.

I hope the weather clears up for Super Bowl, big storm headed into NJ, NY this afternoon and it's fookin freezing here at the moment.
