Hoping for a Broncos - Seahawks Superbowl, but don't really mind the 49ers either.

Just don't want the Patriots and their Glory-Hunting Man Utd fans to get to the Superbowl.

Agreed. It's hard to love the Patriots. All very good teams left, it could be any of them but I'm predicting a Seahawks-Broncos superbowl with the Broncos winning now Peyton's broken the one and done curse for this year.

I've thought the Seahawks would win it for some time now.

Top wide receiver lost to free agency .............. Check
Number two Tight End banged up on homicide charges .............. Check
Number one Tight End lost to season ending injury  .............. Check
Third string running back (who wasn't even deemed good enough by the Bucs !!) being used ........ Check

Patriots still win ................ Check

When they had that frankly absurd victory against the Browns the other week I looked at a Browns forum to see what they made of it and there was a poster implying that the NFL is in the pocket of the Patriots because of their wealthy owner or some such conspiracy. Anyway, I chose to believe it.

Bollocks to all this NFL play off talk. How are Rutgers doing? Or did? Or whatever?

Noo Joisey's finest finished with a respectable 6 wins and 7 losses, losing their Bowl game to Notre Dame (in a game played at the Death Star)

That was "Marcus Allen - A Football Life"

Back in 1982/83 my dad was working for Xerox in El Segundo, close to the Raiders training facility.

I doubt that there were many (if any) other 13 year olds in the UK who had a Marcus Allen jersey at that time.

I've just bought myself a new Marcus jersey to wear to the Raiders game at Wembley next season.

Here's the Bo Jackson "ESPN 30 for 30 " doc

The raiders jersey is just so amazing.  As a kid I had a Bo Jackson jersey, despite knowing nothing of the team.  My father, despite growing up in NYC (moved to NYC from Iran as a little kid) was a huge Dolphins fan, and took me to the store to get a jersey.  Back then stores only sold the jersey of the hometown team, which in Connecticut was the Giants and Jets.  But EVERY store carried the Raiders jerseys!

haha

Pats Fans really are the absolute worst.

I grew up in CT, about 3 hours from Boston, and 30 mins from NYC.  I never met a Pats fan.  In fact, in the late 80's early 90's, the Pats almost left MA and moved to CT.
I had a friend who went to college in MA and for the first two years he NEVER met a Pats fan.

Then they won't the first Super Bowl and they were everywhere.  Literally everywhere.  Where had they all been hiding? and every single one of them acts like they have been lifelong fans.

It's a bit like that with Blues fans in Sutton Coldfield. I hadn't seen anyone wearing their shirt and then when they got promoted to the Premier, suddenly they were everywhere. Even now I can't remember the last time I saw one. I think their lot must only wear them when they're in the PL.
